Technology
Global Positioning Systems (GPS) are the leading egde of the curent survey technology. Originally developed by the United States Department of Defence, the system uses the constellation NATSTAR and recently GLONASS Satellites to determine three-dimensional position with remarkable accuracy. With GPS, significant productivity and economic gains can be realised, even in remote areas where conventional survey techniques may not be practical.
Being commited to remaining on the leading edge of survey technology we are now able to offer the industry our survey expertise in the use and application of Global Positioning Systems.
Additionally, each of our field crews is fully equipped with the industry’s latest equipment including digital electronic total stations, data collectors, and notebook computers.
Technology combined with diverse project involvement allows for the experience and flexibility necessary to apply GPS and conventional techniques to any project environment.
Office
Our commitment to technology extends to the office. After field data is collected our office has the technical equipment and expertise for prompt and final plan production. The development of custom designed software has eased the process of computation, preparation of diagrams, sectional title plans and general plans for registration purposes. For the efficient and expeditious delivery of plans and swapping of information our website may be used.
A recent addition to the website is the facility to obtain diagrams, general plans, sectional title plans and survey data throughout South Africa directly from the Department of Land Affairs’ database, this is a FREE service. (Click here to visit order survey data)
